¡Bienvenidos Familia! My name is Joan Varela Escapa, and I'm the owner of Bailalo LLC. Growing up in Puerto Rico, dance was more than just movement; it was a way of life, a connection to my culture, and a source of pure joy. I've been dancing since I was a child and professionally for 20 years, sharing my passion at studios like Ballet Escenario, J&L Dance Studio, and Raices Latin Dance in both Puerto Rico and Massachusetts. But my dream was always bigger: to create a space where everyone, regardless of experience, could discover the joy of Caribbean dance. That's why I founded Bailalo.
